About Us
The PROMPT Trials
The Pragmatic Trial Of Messaging to Providers (PROMPT) Trials are pragmatic, randomized trials focused on improving patient care through the provision of electronic medical record-based alerts. Currently divided into four subsections (HF Outpatient, HF Inpatient, MRA, and Lipids), the PROMPT Program sends informational alerts to providers that inform them of FDA recommended, evidence-based therapies for patients which meet inclusion criteria. Specific information on each PROMPT Trial, along with study protocols, can be found on the individual study pages linked above.
CTRA
The Clinical and Translational Research Accelerator (CTRA) is a research group associated with Yale University that is dedicated to the process of applying discoveries from laboratory and preclinical experiments to the development and design of clinical studies and trials. Our work spans several domains, from biomarker discovery and validation to interventional data science and analytics. Our team is comprised of talented physicians and scientists committed to a patient-first approach to develop solutions in clinical medicine and disease management. Ultimately, the CTRA aims to combine the creativity, commitment, experience, and skills of our physician-scientists, with the goal of improving care. We also recruit and train students and young scientists in translational research education.
